Kent C. Thompson

Kent C. Thompson is a highly respected and sought-after advisor in the areas of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Administration, Business Planning and Real Estate. K.C.’s expertise, integrity, and legal abilities have been recognized for decades by the legal community in multiple capacities. He has been appointed as a Special Master for the State Bar of California and a Guardian Ad Litem, as well as been appointed as a Judge Pro Tem for the San Diego Superior Court, Probate Division. K.C.’s legal skills have received AV© Preeminent© rating from Martindale-Hubbell (highest legal competence) for more than 30 years.

K.C. assists individuals, fiduciaries, and businesses in all areas of administration, business, and real estate law. K.C. has particular expertise in complex real estate matters and title issues. Prior to focusing in the trust and estate field more than 30 years ago, K.C. practiced extensively in real estate law, often on cases involving title matters.

In his more than 40 years of legal experience, K.C. has earned a reputation for his thoughtful guidance and caring, meticulous services to his clients.

Outside of the office K.C. and his wife, Linda, enjoy the theatre and volunteering at their church and community non-profit organizations, including Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego, where he served as Chair of the Board of Directors. For many years K.C. has enjoyed collecting antique bird decoys and studying Nebraska railroad history.
