Nancy A. Spector
Nancy A. Spector is a shareholder focusing on Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Special Needs Trusts, and Conservatorships.
For more than 30 years, Nancy has dedicated her legal practice to helping individuals and families plan and protect their legacies. She is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law and an Accredited Estate Planner through the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.
Nancy is widely known for her commitment to charitable giving and assists clients and friends experience the joy of philanthropy during their lifetimes and create lasting legacies—often through donor-advised funds at local community foundations.
Nancy has held leadership roles across the nonprofit sector, including serving as president of the Estate Planning Council and chair of the Professional Advisor Council of the San Diego Foundation. She is a former co-chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the San Diego County Bar Association and a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education courses.
She serves on the board of The Old Globe. She is also an active member of the San Diego Women’s Foundation and a dedicated supporter of Forever Balboa Park, Inewsource, The Old Globe, Jewish Family Service, and the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
In her spare time, Nancy and her husband, Alan, are actively involved in Balboa Park projects. She is also an avid reader, theatergoer, and fitness enthusiast. Nancy and Alan are proud parents of four adult sons and grandparents to 11 grandchildren who keep them busy!
